Individually tailored sites that meet your  needs—at a price tailored to your budget

Summary of Services

  • Analyze your website and generate ideas on how it can meet your business goals
  • Organize content and build user-friendly navigation
  • Create a unique, compelling design with a flexible framework

Web design is more than skin deep. My process starts with an analysis of your business—your strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats—and your objectives for your website. Some common goals include:

  • Streamlining and maximizing your marketing efforts.
  • Exploring and attracting new markets.
  • Providing tangible new benefits and services.

My job is to help guide you through your options and pinpoint those that best meet the goals for your business. We first identify your audience: What motivates them? What information do they need to encourage the actions you desire? It is the depth and usefulness of this information that leads to your site being picked up by search engines and to more site visitors. I will help you collect and organize this information and turn it into content that can work for your site.

In order to create a unique web identity, I provide you with an in-depth questionnaire that will clarify how to best present your story to the world. We will also look at the environment that your website is seen and look at websites of competitors and related businesses for ideas and inspiration.

I then sketch up a page schematic (or “wireframe”) to show the basic elements that will make up each page. Also included in my services is a sitemap and an outline that shows how these pages will connect to one another. I then options for the design of the home page and a sample inside page. These elements provide the basis for our discussion. Finally I create a design that is then converted into a working WordPress theme.

My goal is to design a website that will help your visitor understand your business as quickly as possible and guide them to the information they are looking for, even if they aren’t quite sure what that is. After all, your site visitors made the effort to find you—by typing your URL , clicking on a link, or doing a web search—they already are motivated. It is part of my job to understand that motivation and use it to your best advantage.
